Brazil v England in the 1970 World Cup is considered one of the greatest games ever and was the scene of the greatest save ever by Englands Gordon Banks A save that is now acknowledged as the greatest save ever. It was 7 June 1970 in Guadalajara when Pele turned to celebrate a goal only to see Banks dive across his goal and make a miraculous save. Pele says he has never seen a save like this.
